Enercon Plasma & Flame Innovations Featured in Special Plastics Report

Plastics Machinery Magazine produced a special report on surface treatment. The publication targeted the most innovative developments in the marketplace and Enercon was pleased to be recognized extensively in two articles for our work in the field of plasma and flame surface treating.

Enercon’s plasma and flame surface treating systems are used to clean, etch and functionalize surfaces for improved surface energy and wettability. The articles showcase the new Flame Series Pro and Blown-ion™ 750 with MultiPort™ Technology.

The Flame Series Pro features a touch screen that gives users access to operating parameters, fault logs, and other useful info. The system uses volumetric measuring of gas and air flow for real-time adjustments creating a consistent and repeatable flame treatment. It also features capabilities for simplifying integration with robotics and network control packages.

Earning the magazine’s cover shot was Enercon’s new Blown-ion™ Plasma Treater with MultiPort™ Technology. Its innovative design offers uniform treatment for widths of up to three inches in a single pass with power for high speed in-line applications. Industries that use plasma today include aerospace, automotive, medical, assembly, packaging, window & doors, wire & cable, and consumer goods.
