Tips for a Successful Plasma or Flame Lab Trial

Our surface treating experts are pleased to offer Enercon lab services to test your application with the latest surface treatment technologies. Here are some tips to keep in mind to ensure your test is successful.

  1. Enercon will work with you on developing a lab trial request. It’s important to provide as much detail as possible to ensure we understand the areas to be treated, goals of treatment and considerations for implementing a solution in the field. We also need to know if you want the samples shipped back to you or if they should be disposed.
  2. You are always welcome to attend the lab trial at our facilities.
  3. Be sure to send us enough samples for complete testing. Typically at least eight samples are preferred.
  4. Enercon will provide you with a detailed report of the lab trial documenting technologies used and diagnostic results. It’s important not to lean too heavily or lightly on a single indicator of treatment success.
  5. If we are shipping samples back to you for further testing we will overnight the samples to your facility. Timing and handling are very important when it comes to working with treated samples. Please see this article on proper handling and testing of plasma and flame treated samples.
