Enercon Announces Bill Zito Scholarship

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI- In commemoration of Bill Zito's election to the Packaging Hall of Fame Enercon Industries Corporation is pleased to announce the creation of the Bill Zito Scholarship to be administered by the PMMI Education & Training Foundation.
Visitors to Enercon's booth at the Pack Expo Show can increase the value of the scholarship by having their badge scanned at booth S466. Enercon will increase the value of the scholarship for every badge scanned.
In addition Enercon will be make a donation to the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund which helps retired NFL players. How are the Gridiron Greats connected to Enercon? Bill played football with Mike Ditka at the University of Pittsburgh, and they have been lifelong friends ever since. Mike has been instrumental in the fundraising efforts of the Gridiron Greats. Every badge scanned at the Enercon booth will also increase our donation to the Gridiron Greats, and one lucky booth visitor will win a Gridiron Greats Football Jersey autographed by Mike Ditka.

The Bill Zito scholarship will be awarded to the candidate who best meets the following criteria:
- Third year student majoring in packaging engineering or related areas
- Excellent academic achievement plus recommendation from faculty
- One page essay from student describing his/her career goals, demonstrating interest in the packaging industry
- Extra-curricular involvement such as athletics etc.
- Candidate should submit resume outlining academic and work experience along with essay
