How We Collect Personal Information
We collect personal information about you in multiple ways. This includes:
- When you provide it to us, for example, when you: make an inquiry about our products or services; request a quote, brochure, or technical documentation; register for product demonstrations or webinars; subscribe to newsletters or other marketing updates; establish a customer account or place an order; engage with our technical or support teams; participate in surveys or promotions, or apply for employment with us. - When you call us after interacting with our Websites or Services. We may use, for instance, call-tracking services such as those provided by CallRail, Inc. (“CallRail”) to help us understand which online marketing channels lead to phone inquiries. If you arrive at our Websites through an online advertisement (for example, Google Ads), you may see a unique tracking number that forwards your call to our main business line. CallRail automatically records certain limited call metadata like the caller ID, ad campaign source, the time and date of the call, its duration, and the caller’s phone number. Recordings of calls are stored securely in CallRail’s cloud environment and are accessible only to authorized Enercon personnel for training and quality-assurance purposes. We do not use these recordings or metadata for profiling or automated decision-making. Call tracking data is processed on our behalf by CallRail as a service provider/processer under a written data-processing agreement that includes confidentiality, security, and deletion obligations. - From other sources, for instance if we obtain information about you or your company from public databases, joint partners, social media platforms, and other third parties to help us provide relevant content, services, and offers. This may include: publicly available professional information; information provided by distributors, resellers, or sales partners; data from marketing or analytics providers; information from event partners or organizers; and recruitment agencies. We use this information to update and maintain records, understand our customer base, and ensure we communicate appropriately with business contacts.

Enercon is a global organization with corporate offices, data centers, and partners located in multiple jurisdictions. While we are committed to maintain strong security practices, no system or method of transmission over the internet can guarantee absolute security. Enercon comprises distinct legal entities that coordinate closely to deliver our products and services.

- For U.S. data subjects, Enercon Industries Corporation acts as the data controller for personal information collected through www.enerconind.com and North American activities.
