New surface treater to be introduced at MDM West

Release date: 10/31/2005

Enercon’s Dyne-A-Mite IT™ improves adhesion for conductive and non-conductive surfaces

The new Dyne-A-Mite IT™ is a high performance surface treater that provides a safe and effective means of cleaning surfaces and raising surface energy to promote the adhering and bonding of a wide variety of materials.

It effectively removes grease, oil, oxides and silicone as a pre-treatment and preparation for bonding, soldering or gluing. It can also provide pre-treatment for finishing metals since it can be used on both conductive and non-conductive surfaces.

Its powerful capabilities are the direct result of Enercon’s power supply design expertise and blown-ion air plasma technology. The Dyne-A-Mite IT™ delivers a high velocity stream of charged ions to an object's surface. Through direct contact, these particles positively charge the object's surface, increasing its surface energy and making it more receptive to inks and coatings.

The Dyne-A-Mite IT™ adds to Enercon’s highly successful line of surface treaters which includes the Dyne-A-Mite™ and Dyne-A-Mite HP™ blown arc plasma treaters and the Dyne-A-Flame™ flame plasma treater.
