Enercon's K show exhibit features new long lasting treatment technology

Release date: 7/1/2004

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI – Enercon’s wide range of surface treating solutions for narrow and midweb applications will be well represented at Label Expo at booth #403.

Enercon will introduce a new Compak™ 2000 power supply with an advanced graphic display interface. The new system simplifies installation and operation by integrating many functions such as Watt Density Control and Station Diagnostics with standard operations into a single operator interface. The new interface also offers data logging and supports multiple languages for Enercon’s customers around the world.

The new system provides power to Enercon's compact and powerful TL Max™ which is ideal for narrow web applications. For midweb applications the system will provide power to Enercon's Universal-roll station with ceramic electrodes. For difficult to treat materials and surfaces requiring stringent surface specifications, Enercon offers revolutionary technology in its Plasma3™ surface treater. This atmospheric plasma treater provides reliable treatment for materials once thought untreatable. Plasma3™ can improve hydrophilicity and surface coating performance. This atmospheric plasma web treatment system is also adept at improving the performance of adhesives.

Enercon also offers surface treaters which can be used to treat objects prior to decorating and labeling. The company’s line of atmospheric plasma and flame plasma treaters raise surface energy on objects to promote adhesion. They allow clear, readable markings on polymer surfaces and improve the adhesion of labels and coatings.

Enercon Industries Corporation, headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI, is a major manufacturer of equipment for the plastics and packaging industries. The company supplies custom built corona, flame and atmospheric plasma treating systems, and 3D plasma treaters for the plastics and rubber industries.
