Enercon introduces new Dyne-A-Flame Flame Plasma 3-Dimensional surface treating system
Release date: 3/1/2004
MENOMONEE FALLS, WI - Enercon's latest surface treating innovation takes 3D flame plasma surface treating to a new level. The new Dyne-A-Flame features a sophisticated combustion control system that ensures repeatable performance and minimizes downtime.
Dyne-A-Flame is the perfect solution for difficult adhesion problems typically found in the automotive, medical, cosmetic and electronics industries. It effectively increases surface energy prior to printing, painting, gluing, coating or laminating.
Treating of 3-dimensional objects facilitates high quality printing on plastic parts, allows for clear readable markings on polymer surfaces and improves the adhesion of labels and coatings. Systems are capable of treating all types of extruded, pultruded, molded and formed materials. It is ideal for PE, PP, PET, nylon, vinyl, polystyrene, polycarbonate, PVC, flurocarbons and all other types of thermoformed and thermoset plastics.
Flame plasma systems hold several benefits over other adhesion promoting techniques including higher and longer lasting treatment levels without ozone, solvent or UV emissions. High efficiency burners are regulated by a sophisticated combustion control system ensuring consistent, reliable and safe treatment. The Dyne-A-Flame is also compact and inexpensive to operate.
The addition of the new system complements Enercon's line of 3D surface treaters which includes the Dyne-A-Mite air plasma (corona) treater. Enercons laboratory features fully operational Dyne-A-Flame and Dyne-A-Mite systems. Application engineers use the systems to help customers identify which technology is best for their application.
Enercon Industries Corporation, headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI supplies a complete range of surface treating systems to the converting industry and a complete range of induction cap sealers to the packaging industry.
