Enercon Improves Upon Industry-Leading, Customer-Focused Web Site
Release date: 3/1/2005
New Enercon site offers improved navigation and is packed with value-added information and resources for the surface treating industry
Enercon Industries Corp., the world's leading manufacturer of surface treating systems and associated support equipment, announced today their new surface treating web site, http://www.enerconind.com/treating. The new web site was designed to set a new standard in the surface treating industry for usability and value-added resources, offering visitors a wide-range of information to help inform them about the technology, trends and uses of surface treating.
In addition to its improved navigation, the site serves as a rich resource for application stories, technical articles and papers and detailed technical support information. Other value-added information includes technology basics, industry links, frequently asked questions, lab details, a glossary of key terms and much more.
"As the industry leading manufacturer of surface treating systems, we feel it is our job to help educate and inform readers on the applications, the industry and the technologies used in surface treating," said Mark Plantier, Enercon's vice president of marketing. "We've done extensive research on the types of information our customers want and we've made that information a big part of our new site."
A popular area of Enercon's new site is their full collection of application articles. These articles inform readers about unique and innovative surface treating applications, and can help them with their own surface treating challenges. An example of a recent application article discusses how Baxter Healthcare reduced their material costs by 70 percent after implementing in-line printing and treating. The article describes why Baxter choose to use surface treating, rather than top-coating, and how Enercon worked with the printer manufacturer to integrate a corona treating station with their in-line printer.
A highly-detailed support section and technical articles are two other popular resources available. The goal of the technical support section is to help customers avoid issues before they occur by providing information on general support principles, maintenance articles and tips as well as application support. The technical articles, written by Enercon's expert engineers and staff, include titles such as "Atmospheric Plasma - What is it and what is it good for" and "More science and less art makes printing operations more profitable."
'Enercon is committed to our customer's success before, during and after the sale, and this philosophy is demonstrated with the resources and support options we provide on our new site," said Plantier. "Our commitment to providing this information is ongoing, so users will always have fresh content to help them make decisions regarding their surface treating."
