Enercon Adds Dri-Tec Dancer to Surface Treating Laboratory
Release date: 12/1/2000
MENOMONEE FALLS, WI - Enercon Industries Corporation has installed a Dri-Tec Dancer in its Corona Treating Laboratory which significantly improves tension control and the laboratory's ability to smoothly run out-of- round rolls of substrate. The dancer includes advanced design, low inertia extruded aluminum and graphite composite rollers for ultra-low tension applications.
As a result, the laboratory can now run rolls up to 36" in diameter, from 12" to 60" web width, at speeds from 10 to 1,000 feet per minute smoothly and provide a hard roll of substrate with even edges to make follow-on converting easy. The Dri-Tec Dancer was supplied by Dri-Tec Inc. of Milwaukee, WI, on consignment.
