Release date: 11/1/2000

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI - Enercon announces its newly updated, state-of-the art, induction sealing control system, the Assists. In addition to providing unsurpassed sealing quality the Assists is loaded with productivity enhancing features that set new standards for induction cap sealing systems. Visitors to Enercon Industries' Pack Expo exhibit (booth N3121) were able to take a first hand look at the PLC based all-in-one sealing, inspection and control system.

The Assists eases the operator's workload without requiring extensive training. It stores 21 set-up menus in memory and automatically adjusts the sealing head height for each set-up. The operator utilizes an operator friendly touch screen to access product menus and select the correct product recipe. By providing data in a step-by-step fashion, the Assists guides the operator through correct operation, proper setup, and when necessary, through troubleshooting and correction of system faults.

The Assists has four distinct operating and control modes; preset product menus to establish power level, bottle height, eject delay, eject time and stalled bottle delay; a critical fault monitor, and a series of help menus to assist the operator with operating and set-up options. The system also features a deluxe inspection system.
