Release date: 7/31/2012
MENOMONEE FALLS, WI - Selig (Slough, UK), the world’s largest manufacturer of tamper-evident cap/closure liner material, installed three Enercon induction cap sealers at their new ‘Centre of Excellence' laboratory.
Andrew McLean, Selig's Executive Vice President of Global Marketing said, “Selig offers the best sealing materials on the market and because we’ve worked closely with Enercon Industries over the years, we know that they offer the best machinery. Naturally, when we decided to open our ‘Centre of Excellence’, we knew we had to demonstrate our products using the best induction sealing equipment, and that meant using Enercon.”
Selig’s Centre of Excellence laboratory includes Enercon’s new Super Seal™ Touch induction sealer. The advanced operating system is controlled with a touch screen interface and includes features such as recipe management, password security, internal monitoring of critical operating data and container, cap and foil counters. It can sync into their existing network and be controlled locally or remotely.
Induction sealers create hermetic seals for preventing leaks, provide tamper evidence, preserve product freshness and extend shelf life in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical, and other rigid packaging industries.
