New power supply and sealing head for induction sealing containers without caps

Release date: 12/1/2003

Enercon has engineered a new generation of ultra-compact induction sealing power supplies that are making induction sealing a reality for sealing containers without a torqued cap. When matched with the company’s highly-efficient sealing heads, these new power supplies allow packagers to take advantage of the benefits of induction sealing for new applications.

The modularity of these sealing components makes them adaptable for virtually any sealing configuration. They can be used to replace sealing elements in standard conduction sealing systems. Packagers interested in making the switch from conduction to induction will benefit from many induction advantages including; cleaner and cooler operation, instantaneous start-up and operation, lower power consumption, high speed production capability and virtually no required maintenance.

Packagers can also use these Enercon components with a variety of rotary and indexing container handling systems made by other manufacturers. An added benefit of sealing without a cap is that all seals may be 100% inspected prior to capping.

More information on these systems is available at the induction sealing home page.

Enercon Industries Corporation, headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI, supplies a complete range of automatic and semi-automatic induction cap sealers to the packaging industry. The company also manufacturers custom surface treating systems.
