One of the hallmarks of our induction cap sealing equipment is that we build them to last. It's not uncommon to walk into a facility and see a system that is 20 years old.

While The Penray Companies' Compak induction sealer isn't quite that old, it has been sealing for over 10 years! Packaging Digest just did a great story on Penray's retooling of a package and how the versatility of their sealer allowed them to save on purchasing a new machine.

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the Pack Expo Student Design Competition. Groups of students from around the country were presented with a challenge and each of the groups came up with some creative solutions working with PMMI member companies to find real world equipment solutions. The group from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College took the big prize away and have $4,000 in scholarships that will help them through school.
