Earlier today, the Closure & Container Manufacturers Association (CCMA) hosted the first in what should be a series of networking lunches. The event was the first of its kind for CCMA and began to showcase the new swagger the group is building. Over the past year the CCMA really began to hone in on what our new economy dictates an industry association must provide. Today's event was definitely proof of that.
The event brought together cap , bottle, foil inner seal, mold manufacturers and a wide array of others that support the packaging industry for an opportunity to network with one another & hear from industry expert Pat Yanahan at USA Strategies. Pat shared invaluable insight into what consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies are looking for suppliers to provide. Pat's extensive research in this arena provided everyone with a new twist on how we all might grow our businesses in today's business environment.
CCMA's next networking lunch will likely be this fall, but has yet to be scheduled. Drop Candace Renwall, CCMA's President, a note to make sure you know about.
Packagers from around the world turned out for our latest webinar, "
