Micro Display Light Indicators

The following is a description of the micro display light indicators on an Enercon Compak 9000 power supply.

Indicators

Power On This indicates power is available and correct for the micro controller to operate. Normal operation, this light is illuminated.
Controller Ready This indicates the micro controller is ready to operate. It has satisfied the necessary self diagnostic checks. Normal operation, this light is illuminated.
Auto This indicates the micro is in automatic control for power reference from either the watt density, proportional speed or computer interface control mode. This is dependent on the software supplied with the system. This light will be on if automatic control has been selected.
Man This indicates the micro is in manual control. For power reference, the up/down arrow key pads will set the desired power level either locally or remotely. The light will be on if manual control has been selected.
Local This indicates the power supply is able to be controlled locally from the power supply to provide the power reference. The local up/down arrow key pads control the power reference in the manual mode. The remote start and stop inputs can also control the power supply. This light will be on if local control has been selected.
Remote This indicates the power supply is being controlled remotely. To provide the power reference, the remote up/down arrow key pads control the power reference in the remote mode. The local start and stop inputs can also control the power supply. This light will be on if remote control has been selected.
Run The power supply is in the run condition. The interlocks have been satisfied along with the zero speed requirement. The power supply is operating. This light will be on after all interlocks have been satisfied and the start button has been depressed.
Current Limit The power supply is operating at the maximum, safe output current level. This light is normally de-energized. But the Power Supply can operate safely with the light on. Normally it will also illuminate if a short exists in the inverter device.
Voltage Limit The power supply is operating at the maximum voltage output within the design specifications for the system. This light will normally be on but may flash (toggle) or turn off at full output KW.
kW This indicates the output power the power supply is delivering to the load in kilowatts. The digital meter indication is KW when illuminated.
Volts This indicates the DC Bus voltage being developed. The digital meter indicates DC volts when lit.
Amps This indicates the output current the power supply is delivering to the load in AC amps. The digital meter indication is AC amps when lit.
kHz This indicates the frequency the power supply is operating at. The digital meter indication is in kilohertz when lit.
