The following is a description of a micro display which locks up on an Enercon Compak 9000 power supply.

The thermal switch mounted on the heat sink has tripped. The thermal switch protects the devices from an overtemperature condition. |

| Solutions |
- Check to ensure the cooling fans are operating and the air paths are clear of obstruction (Item 8).
- Check to ensure the wire connections are tight.
- The thermal switch automatically resets when the heat sink temperature drops to a safe operating temperature. If the switch will not reset, replace the switch (Item 19).
