Surface Treating Laboratory

Enercon Industries surface treating laboratory serves as a research facility for innovative product development and customer product and process research. Working together with our customers, we have found new applications for treating techniques.

For many of Enercon's current and prospective customers our laboratory serves as a confidential process development center where they can trial a variety of web surface and 3-D treating techniques. At Enercon we serve the treating industry by offering a broad range of treatment options which provide our customers an opportunity to compare technologies with complete, accurate and unbiased test data. This test data is designed to yield valuable insight into the most effective process for a given application.

Enercon's surface treating laboratory contains a variety treating stations - Bare Roll, Covered Roll, Universal Roll as well as a narrow web station, the revolutionary Plasma3™ atmospheric plasma treater, not to mention Enercon's flame treating system. In addition to these stations, the lab also boasts a Dyne-A-Mite™, Dyne-A-Mite™ HP, and Dyne-A-Flame 3D treaters and a sheet treater. The lab also has four power supplies with power rating from 3 to 20 kW and unwind/rewind stands.
