Enercon Demonstrates Total Surface Treating Capability - Ultra Wide Web

Release date: 4/1/2000

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI - Enercon has expanded its treating capabilities to include Ultra-Wide Web applications up to five meters.

Each Enercon Ultra-Wide Web Station is engineered for mechanical rigidity and squareness. The electrode assemblies can be engineered to fit within the line as replacements, retrofit upgrades or pre-engineered, new process lines. A wide range of roll coverings is available, from silicone rubber to ceramic. Dual-Dielectric stations with ultra-smooth corona for PET lines up to five meters are available. The electrode treating surface is designed for consistent, high-level treatment. The assembly easily rotates away from the treater roll to allow easy thread-up, cleaning and maintenance. The design allows for open station with complete electrical safety for operating personnel.

Enercon Industries Corporation, headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI, is a major manufacturer of equipment for the plastics and packaging industries. The company supplies custom built bare-roll, covered-roll and universal roll corona treating systems; 3D plasma treaters for the plastics and rubber industries; and induction cap sealing systems for food, dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical packaging.
