The corona treater design contains a special coated roll which in combination with our unique ceramic electrode assembly provides consistent and high level surface treatment. The corona treater treats any web including plastic, foil, metallized film or paper. The patented air-flow design provides enhanced treatment levels and creates unique ozone removal capabilities for a safe work area. High-efficiency rectangular ceramic electrodes provide highest treatment levels.

Universal Roll Benefits

- Produces Homogenous High Defintion Corona for optimal adhesion results
- Conductive webs may also be treated using the Universal Roll System.
- It reduces the possibility of backside treatment and pin-holing that can occur with both Covered Roll and Bare Roll systems.
- This system has the same cooling system that is found in the patented Bare Roll system thus efficiently removing ozone and reducing the operating temperatures of both the electrodes and roll.
- There is less heat stress on the treater roll coating than on a Covered Roll system, allowing the roll to run cooler.
- Universal Roll systems require smaller treater roll diameters than Covered Roll systems.
