The following is a description of a blank micro display on an Enercon Compak 9000 power supply. This condition may result from a variety of circumstances, please note multiple symptoms & solutions exist on this page.

The chopper device or control circuitry has failed. |
| CAUTION! |
When replacing the chopper device, always change the associated gate leads. If not, the lead may be defective and cause further device failures. |

| Solutions |
- Check the chopper device in accordance with the device checks on page 2. (Item 14).
- If a defective device is identified, replace the device and gate leads and restart power supply.
- If no defective device is identified, replace the driver board (Item11)
- If problem persists, contact Enercon's Service Department for assistance.
