To operate your Compak 2000 power supply from a remote location other than the keypad, the following must be performed.
| Note |
| The contact must be a momentary closure to operate properly. If the contact is not momentary the condition will not be able to be overridden until the initial command is removed. |
| |
| Procedure |
- Locate TB-4 inside the power supply. (See Figure 1)
The following is a description of an illumninated temp light on your Enercon Compak 2000 power supply.
| Symptom & Fault |
| Symptom |
The power supply front panel has the "temp" illuminated, and the power supply cannot be started. |
| Fault |
The thermal switch mounted on the device heat sink has tripped preventing the operation of the power supply in an overtemperature condition. |
| |
|
| Solution |
- Check the air cooling path to ensure no obstructions are present.
- Verify the cooling fan located at the bottom of the heat sink is operating.
- Check the wiring from the control board to the sensor. Ensure the connections are tight.
- The thermal switch is designed to automatically reset. If the temperature of the heat sink is not in excess of 90 degrees Celsius (194 degrees Fahrenheit), the switch may be defective. Replace the switch. (Item 15)
|
- Connect a momentary control command to the correct terminal on TB-4. (See Figure 2)
