Cap Inspection System

Enercon's cap inspection system is your quality control supervisor. It detects faulty containers and when combined with Enercon's eJector, container rejection system, discharges them from your production line. Integrate inspection with the advanced operator interface of our Super Seal Deluxe or Super Seal max for optimal control.

Stalled Bottle Detector
Detects when a bottle fails to exit the sealing head within a preset time. When this occurs, an indicator lamp is lit and a signal is available to shut down the power supply.
Missing Foil Detector
Detects a missing foil liner. In addition to lighting an indicator lamp, this circuit also provides a signal for triggering a reject device, (supplied by others).
Reject Bottle Counter
Counts all bottles that have been rejected for missing foil and cocked caps. This counter can be reset manually at the CIS Control Panel or remotely.
Total Bottle Counter
Counts all bottles that pass the counter sensor. This counter can be reset manually at the CIS Control Panel or remotely.
Auto Start/Stop
Turns on cap sealer when first bottle is detected. Shuts off cap sealer after a time period when no bottle is detected.
Back-Up Detector
Detects when bottles are backed up to the sealing head. If this condition is sensed, an indicator lamp is lit and a signal is available to shut down the power supply.
Cocked Cap Detector
Senses a cap that is not properly seated or out-of-tolerance in height. This circuit also provides a signal for triggering a reject device.

Enercon systems are designed to operate in a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C (104°F) @ 80% relative humidity, non-condensing.
